TARGET AND UNITINGCARE AUSTRALIA is a nonprofit organisation that focuses on providing support to individuals and families in need across Australia. Our organisation was formed as a partnership between Target, one of Australia’s leading retailers, and UnitingCare, a network of community service providers. Together, we have been working for over 25 years to improve the lives of those who need it most.
At TARGET AND UNITINGCARE AUSTRALIA, we believe in the power of community and the importance of bringing people together to help those in need. Our mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable Australians by providing essential services and support.

- Winter Appeal: During the winter months, we run a campaign to provide warm clothing, blankets, and other essential items to people experiencing homelessness.
- Back to School Drive: Each year, we collect donations of school supplies and backpacks to help students from low-income families start the school year off right.
- Emergency Relief: Through our Emergency Relief program, we provide financial assistance and other forms of support to people who are experiencing financial hardship.
- Bushfire Relief: In response to the devastating bushfires that swept across Australia in 2019-2020, we worked to provide emergency assistance to affected communities, including food, shelter, and other forms of support.
- Indigenous Programs: We work with Indigenous communities across Australia to provide culturally appropriate support services and programs, including education, health, and employment support.
